The Penguins of Madagascar - Operation Blowhole

Plot
Private tells Marlene, Mason, and Phil of a past encounter that he and the other penguins had had with the evil dolphin Dr. Blowhole, but Marlene does not believe his tale. He tries to then show her a file on the mission, but is stopped by Skipper initially before Marlene begins to look at the documents and is unimpressed by them. Julien then comes by, telling everybody that he "is" to be a spy. Soon after, the zoo opens for the day and the animals disperse to their respective habitats.

Mort is soon seen to be bound by seaweed, and Julien is seen being taken away by an unknown creature; it is soon revealed that Dr. Blowhole had been spying on the penguins, and he appears to the penguins on their TV, informing them that he had captured Skipper's "best friend," Julien, and that he will "sleep with the fishes" if they try to interfere with his plans.

Skipper then insists that he is not best friends with Julien, but that rescuing the lemur is in order, as such is "the penguin way."

Footrot Flats: The Dog's Tale (1986)

Plot
Wal Footrot (John Clarke) and Cooch Windgrass (Peter Hayden) are shearing sheep on Wal's farm. Cheeky Hobson (Fiona Samuel), Wal's girlfriend, is driving on the highway when she is driven off the road by the Murphy brothers, Spit (Brian Sergent) and Hunk (Marshall Napier), flying in a helicopter.

The Murphys then terrorise Wal's property, leaving Dog (Peter Rowley) to drown in a sheep pit. As he is in the water, he has a flashback of when he was a little pup: how he was united with Wal for the first time, a gift from Aunt Dolly (Dorothy McKegg), and how he met Jess, who was nearly drowned by Spit and Hunk. Soon, Wal wakes Dog and Cooch and the dogs manage to foil the Murphys, who were in the process of capturing Cooch's deer.

Later, Wal finds Rangi Jones (Rawiri Paratene) and Pongo Footrot (Fiona Samuel) playing catch with a rugby ball, and so he joins in to coach them.

The Gruffalo's Child 2011

 Plot

The story is about the Gruffalo's daughter who, despite her father's stories, sets off into the woods to discover the 'big bad mouse', which is the only thing her father is afraid of.

Throughout her journey, she encounters the snake, the owl, and the fox from The Gruffalo, each of whom tell her where she can find the big bad mouse.

Eventually, believing she has been tricked, she gives up, saying that she doesn't believe in the 'big bad mouse'. When it finally appears, she realises it isn't big and bad as her father described.

In order to avoid being eaten, the mouse invites the Gruffalo's daughter to meet the big bad mouse. It then tricks the Gruffalo's daughter by standing on a tree branch to use the moonlight to enlarge its shadow.

The Gruffalo's daughter flees, believing the shadow to belong to the real 'big bad mouse'.
